AARLCC Receives Grant to Produce an Original Play about Esther Rolle
BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Join the African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) March 4-7, 2021, for the debut of the original play Let the Good Times Rolle: The Life and Legacy of Esther Rolle at 100. Held in celebration of Women’s History Month and as tribute to the many talents of Emmy Award-winning actor and Pompano Beach native Esther Rolle, this special drive-in, outdoor performance will be held at AARLCC, located at 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311, 954-357-6282.

Beginning Monday, May 18, Broward County Library (BCL) will start Walk-up/Drive-up Service at a limited number of libraries.
This service provides an opportunity for you to access reserved materials in a safe manner while Broward County Libraries remain closed to the public.

Why we need you to become a member today
Together, we engage with community organizations to build support for new programs and increase attendance to existing programs. We provide resources to acquire additions, special collections, solicit research materials, and historically significant artifacts for the special collections.
Each Friend serves as an Ambassador for AARLCC’s public awareness of the library and its services. Join us as we move forward to strengthen our advocacy efforts, increase contributions, and embrace opportunities to meet the needs of AARLCC. Learn how you can become a Friend.
